About us
Who We Are
Action Against Trafficking is a Uganda-based, grassroots nonprofit working to prevent human trafficking and support survivors within vulnerable communities.
Our work focuses on prevention, rescue, survivor support, and reintegration, responding to the realities faced by children, women, youth groups and families at risk of exploitation.
We work closely with local communities to identify early risks, support survivors with dignity and confidentiality, and strengthen protection systems where resources are limited.
We believe that lasting change happens when solutions are locally led, grounded in trust, and centered on the voices of those most affected.

Our Story
Action Against Trafficking was founded after witnessing the devastating impact of trafficking on individuals and families. Survivors who bravely shared their stories inspired us to act — and to build a platform that amplifies their voices, supports their recovery, and mobilizes communities against exploitation.
What began as a small grassroots effort has grown into a global network of people determined to make change. Every program, campaign, and action we take is rooted in the belief that humanity, when united, is stronger than trafficking.
